Released just a few months before his high school graduation, Kyle Riabko wrote every song on the album. He played guitar and bass for the recording along with backing from former Prince drummer, Michael Bland, and former Grapes of Wrath keyboardist, Vince Jones. Special guest vocals made by Liz Phair and Robert Randolph help round out the album’s sound. The album was co-produced by Kyle Riabko with Matt Wallace and Chris Burke-Gaffney, who is also Kyle’s manager. The majority of the recording sessions took place at Sound City in Los Angeles. Feeling that the album needed something extra in order to pull it together, Kyle wrote and recorded two additional songs, Before I Speak and Doesn’t Get Much Better in his bedroom at home. The singles released include What Did I Get Myself Into and Do You Right.
